DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEscape the darkness of a December lat
 e afternoon for a couple of hours of beautiful music in a lovely setting -
  mulled wine and mince pies included!\n\nThis year we are delighted to ven
 ture out of town to bring our Christmas programme to the lovely Downland v
 illage of Ditchling where we shall be singing in the beautiful and histori
 c St Margaret’s Church.\n\nOur music director has put together a program
 me of joyous choral music for an inspiring celebration of Christmas. Benja
 min Britten's Ceremony of Carols features. He wrote it to be sung with h
 arp accompaniment - here Helen Arnold joins the choir.\n\nWe include other
  seasonal items by composers Rutter\, Walton\, Tchaikovsky\,\n\nBerlioz\, 
 Darke and more.\n\nYou will have the opportunity to help us raise the roof
  when we invite the audience to join in with some well-known carols.\n\nHa
 mish Dustagheer will play the organ and the whole event is directed by\n\n
 Nicholas Houghton.\n\nCome and sing with us!\n\nTickets are £15 availab
 le on the door\n\nor book in advance to make sure of your seat\n\nDoors op
 en at 3.30 pm  -  Concert at 4.00 pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
