This discussion, Q&A and networking event explores new creative approaches to working together and collaboration in the industry.
Delivered by Fabrica in partnership with Screen and Film School on behalf of Young Film Network South East, supported with National Lottery funding.
BFI Film Academy offers opportunities for ambitious 16-25 year olds, anywhere in the UK, to get to know more about film and how to forge a career in the screen industries. To read about our full programme of events, click here.
For this month’s BFI Academy event we will be exploring new creative approaches to working together and the role of collaboration within the industry.
Facilitated by Jayne Wilson, Filmmaker and Collaborative Practice lecturer, the event will give us a chance to look at examples of creatives working in front of the camera, behind the camera and beyond the camera. Our discussions will cover how collaboration generates innovation and creativity, and how our roles can explore sustainable and ethical practice. We will also provide time for networking with fellow creatives in the room.
- We recommend booking in advance for this event as places are limited. Bookings can also be made in person during gallery opening hours by speaking to a member of the gallery team or at Fabrica during office hours. Online bookings will close 1 hour before the event starts – unless ‘Sold Out’ there is likely to still be tickets available on the door.
- Fabrica is a registered charity and donations are always welcome: add a donation ticket on top of your existing ticket(s) or sign up to make a regular donation here.
