As part of an European tour, Obits play Brighton this October. Hailing from New York, their sound is a blend of straightforward rock and roll and garage-punk. The four-piece are veterans of 90s rock bands, and Obits formed in 2006 following the break-up of vocalist/guitarist Rick Froberg’s band Hotsnakes. Obit’s debut album ‘I Blame You’ was released in March 2009.
