Now taking its place slap-bang in the middle of festival season, Shakedown has also moved to a beautiful new home at nearby Waterhall. Topping the bill this year on the main stage and needing no introduction, are Brixton duo Basement Jaxx with a full live show featuring musicians, an army of singers and amazing visuals. Look forward to some BJAXX classics, including “Red Alert”, “Romeo” and “Where’s Your Head At?”. Fellow Londoners Groove Armada will also be there, with a DJ set with some of the most iconic choons of the past two decades, including “I See you Baby” and “Superstylin’”.
Also catch Gorgon City, Jaguar Skills, and the Supercharged Arena – back with the bass for another year.
Speaking of returns, Zane Lowe is all set to take to the decks once again – champion of new talent and renowned for his electric sets blending old skool cuts with the hottest new bass-heavy tunes – along with loads of other great acts.
