With a strong history of ridiculously talented rock and metal artists on the Brighton scene with a passionate following, Breakout is more in the way of great news for fans of these often overlooked genres. After all, nothing beats that electricity; that special camaraderie you can only find in that moment where the band are rocking out a performance to blow your face off, and the whole arena’s lost in a moment of pure love for great music and an amazing live atmos.
With over 30 acts across 3 live stages, their first announcement features Funeral For A Friend, The Blackout, Silent Screams, Betraying The Martyrs and The Qemists, and more to be announced, plus the recent addition of ragga-metal giants Skindred as headliner! With the news of this brand new open-air fest, along with Brighton’s ‘New Noise’ radio show (the latest in punk-rock, mathcore, melodic hardcore, metalcore, post-hardcore, sludge metal, post-metal, black metal, doom metal – plus interviews, listings, takeovers & more – with Nats Spada on Juice 107.2FM, Thursday nights 12-2am) – there’s MUCH to look forward to in Brighton for fans of heavier music!
