Everyone’s favourite New York preppies have announced a festival warm up date at Concorde2 courtesy of Melting Vinyl. The addition to the August C2 line up is thrilling news for lovers of the four-piece who took the UK by storm last year with their superlative self-titled debut which immaculately blended some distinctly afrocentric rhythms with inspired pop sensibility. With new material on the way, might we hope for a sneak preview of album number 2? Let’s hope so. Either way, tickets will shoot out the door, so be fast.
