Artists, promoters and community groups of Brighton have come together to host a fundraising event at the Concorde 2 for the benefit of the Haiti crisis on February 18. Playgroup, Carnivalesque/Harmony in the Community, Roots Garden, Pure Natural Vibes, CooktheRabbit, Same Sky, Jam Events, Mr Bongo Records, Roots Garden, Margots’ Parties, SWAT, 4Print And Design, Penflick pPdcasts, Adaptatrap, Gigantic and Concorde2 are all on board to support this fundraiser extravaganza… with more expected!
The line up includes Manouchska, The Fat 45, Kalakuta Millionaires, Nhasitafara, Fanfara, Pollito Boogaloo (pictured), Mr Bongo plus DJ sets from Roots Garden, AfroBase, Carnivalesque and many more.
Doors are at 8pm, bands start of 8.30pm. Door tax is £5 – more if you can – and all proceeds to go to the Disasters Emergency Committee. Advance tickets are available from concorde2.co.uk.
