Tickley Feather is the alias for the talented miss Annie Sachs. Signed to Animal Collective’s label Paw Tracks (they’re her number one fan!), Tickley Feather released her self-titled debut album last year, and next month she makes her UK debut performance in Brighton! Tickley Feather grew up in rural Virginia but now resides in Philadelphia where she has been learning to write and record her own music.
Her recordings were gingerly home recorded using budget electronics, but her work has been praised by critics, with comparisons to work by artists such as Syd Barrett and Kate Bush. It has been said that she is a “musical spirit dwelling in the realm of her own natural inclinations”; this is sure to be a beautiful show.
With support from Love.Stop.Repeat, Animal Magic Tricks, and the very popular Brighton trio The Half Sisters.
