The city’s premiere new music festival The Great Escape is speeding towards us, getting ready to take over Brighton’s best venues and show off all the lovely new music that’s floating around.
There is an absolute gamut of bands already on the roster, with even more about to be announced.
Leading names include Bastille, Tom Odell, Chvrches, The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, Temples, DIIV, Iggy Azalea … It goes on and on. If you have even a passing interest in music, or enjoyment, then you’ll have something to titillate you here.
And the festival isn’t all music, with the TGE convention bringing the best of the music business together for a series of talks, panels, discussions, and networking, with 3000 industry delegates making an appearance, nearly a third of them traveling from all over the world just to appear at TGE.
