Featuring four artists: Katie Henery, Helen Cann, Stuart Kuhn, and Jonathan Hyde, in response to WhaleFest, the world’s largest marine life festival. In the summer of 2014, they joined the crew of Sea Dragon, a 70 ft sailing boat journeying 1300 miles across the Atlantic Ocean from Reykjavik in Iceland to Gothenberg in Sweden. Alongside marine biologists, scientists, documentary film makers and an old Icelandic sea captain, they searched the cold waters for whales and dolphins and this exhibition is their final destination point. Installation, photography, film, drawing and mapping tell a sea saga of elusive whales, hunters, and the intersection of art and science.
Wed-Fri : 12-7pm, Sat-Sun: 11-6pm.
