The Robot Heart are set to release their debut mini-album through up-and-coming Brighton-based record label Bleeding Heart Recordings.
Titled “Dust”, the album (released on July 5) will feature six tracks in total, including three acoustic numbers. The quartet have been working in the studio for with producer-heavyweight Rik Simpson, who has previously worked with the likes of The Cure, Portishead and Coldplay.
A handful of live dates throughout July coincide with the release, including a Brighton date at the Hanbury Club on July 28, supporting Ben Ottewell of Gomez. From Brighton but described as the “Icelandic Beach Boys”, expect to bask in folky multi-harmony vocals, mixed with electronic tinkery – see for yourself in the video for album track Lost In Stereo, click here.
