The first single from The Drums’ as yet untitled debut album, will be brand new track ‘Best Friend’. Released on April 5, ‘Best Friend’ has fast become a live favourite with its soaring chorus and guitarist Jacob Graham’s impassioned tambourine playing. Additionally, The Drums are delighted to announce they will be the special guests on Florence and the Machine’s May UK tour. Unfortunately the tour doesn’t make it to the South Coast, with dates in Dublin, Edinburgh, Blackpool, Wolverhampton and London.
The Drums set out on the NME Awards Tour next week, playing alongside The Maccabees, Bombay Bicycle Club and The Big Pink. You’ll be able to catch the Brooklyn quartet at the Brighton Dome on February 15, and keep an eye out for this month’s XYZ Magazine (out now!) for an exclusive interview with The Drums.
