Hailing from New York, this indie pop quartet was formed on the connection between three sisters and a childhood friend. Describing what they do as psychedelic gospel, they conjure up an experimental mix of primitive drums, chord driven drones and dreamy vocal harmonies often shrouded in mystery. After turning some heads with their 2012 debut “In Limbo”, TEEN are one of a few bands leading a new wave of edgy all-girl groups.
