One of a bunch of talented new artists making darker pop music, these four gothic looking south-west Londoners have produced a superb debut from their small basement studio.
Laid back, sparsely instrumented electronic tunes featuring the guy-girl vocal duo of Oliver and Romy, the ambience of this album is the most startling since Burial’s “Untrue”.
It’s not only a fine late night album for the lovelorn and the lost, but possibly the best debut album of the year.
