The self-styled ‘Bard Of Salford’ is one of the only Beat poets from the original Punk movement still in business. And we’re glad to say this legendary British icon has lost none of his trademark wit and swagger. With a razor sharp tongue (and possibly the longest legs in the industry) the working-class hero now mixes stand-up with his risqué prose. Clarke is the only addition to this year’s line-up to be considered a national treasure. We can’t think of a better way to round off the first day of festivities.
