Christies in South Kensington is well known for the auctions of many rare and important works of art and popular collectables.
This month sees Christies hosting the sale of a selection of popular culture items, which is any music fan’s dream. Even if you can’t afford the price tag, it’s worth a trip to London to check out these exciting items. The selection includes the largest selection of The Who memorabilia previously owned by a single owner and George Harrison’s Yamaha FG-340 guitar. There are also items from Andy Warhol (pictured), the Sex Pistols, Ian Dury, Marilyn Manson, Dita Von Teese, Kylie Minogue and U2.
Public viewings are from June 19-23, and if you’re lucky enough to be able to afford any of these items, the auction will take place on June 24. Click here for more information.
