With more than 350 bands set to play in 30+ Brighton venues from May 13 to 15 2010, the team behind the most prestigious new music festival and industry conference in Europe, The Great Escape, have been searching high and low, hand-picking even more incredible acts to announce for its landmark fifth annual Brighton based event.
Dance-pop trio Chew Lips, London rockers Japanese Voyeurs, The Dutchess & The Duke, Aussies Eskimo Joe, and and many many more have just been announced to join the already stellar line up which includes Chase & Status, local ‘nightmare pop’ trio Esben And The Witch, Canadian rockers Japandroids, Kiwi lads The Ruby Suns and the BBC Sound Of 2010 winner Ellie Goulding, and runner ups, Marina And The Diamonds, Delphic and Hurt,
Great Escape have also announced that Day Tickets for the festival are now on sale. Tickets for the Thursday cost £22.50, Friday tickets are priced at £27.50 and Saturday tickets will be £30.00. Early Bird weekend tickets are still on sale for a mere £45.00.
In other ticketing news, Great Escape has set aside a good allocation of space for TGE wristband holders at the Chase & Status show. However, as with all Great Escape gigs, entry to it is subject to capacity, so if you’re a massive fan you’ll be pleased to hear that The Great Escape has also put specific Chase & Status tickets on sale, which will guarantee you access to the show. If you’ve already bought your TGE wristband you can purchase a single Chase & Status gig ticket for £15. And if not, you can buy a combined ticket which includes a TGE three-day festival wristband as well as guaranteed access to the Chase & Status show for £60.
