Mammothfest are proud to announce that Brighton has a new metal festival! With band members, promoters, booking agents and fans uniting to bring some of the biggest metal bands in the world to our fine city Mammothfest is also supporting local bands and working alongside promoters of other alternative sounds (dub step, punk, ska, drum and bass, techno, reggae etc). The idea is to concentrate on metal, but most importantly to bring much of Brighton’s diverse music scene together under one roof.
Steve, Mammothfest director, said “This is about everyone coming together to build the future of our South Eastern metal scene and give our bands and fans the chances to see our biggest favourite bands locally and at a reasonable price! There is no longer the need to travel up north to get that metal festival vibe!”
The first Mammothfest main event will take place at Hove Town Hall on Saturday 18 September 2010 with two stages and a 1300 strong crowd!
