This producer is one of the most hotly-tipped DJs to emerge of late. The Essex-based IDM guru (AKA Stuart Howard) is part of Flying Lotus’ much respected Brainfeeder collective, and blends wildly vivid lo-fi Space-Pop soundscapes with liquid Deep House vocals to create a vibe that’s just about as blissed out as you can get. Fans of James Blake should take heed, because this is a DJ who’s undoubtedly on the rise. All the more reason then to check him out in an intimate setting such as GDS.
