The Bundles are coming to Brighton this month for a maybe-never-to-be-seen-again show at Komedia. Back in 2001 New York performer/comic book artist Jeffrey Lewis and then-Moldy Peach Kimya Dawson wrote a few songs together, but it wasn’t until the following year when Lewis’ band supported her on her solo tour of Germany that the duo expanded those five songs with the addition of Jeffrey’s brother Jack on bass and Anders Griffen (known for his work with Frank Lowe and Regina Spektor) on drums. Despite their busy schedules The Bundles continued to work together – wherever in the world the members happened to cross paths. Eventually in February 2009 in Washington the four recorded some of the pre-existing songs, along with some new ones, and their debut album will be released very soon…
