Part Japanese, part Kiwi indie-rock sensation Sunset Drive are two EPs into their relatively short, but not unrecognised career. Their sound is similar to the hard-edged screaming rock and roll outfit from New Zealand The Datsuns, yet infused with a garage indie melody. This should appeal to all of you out there who obsess about the next big indie act in the UK scene. Unfortunately their records are only available in Japan (or the US on iTunes) for the time being – but don’t be discouraged; you can hear their material on good ol’ MySpace.
