On September 20 Ninja Tune release a definitive celebratory box set of all new music with stupendous artwork from none other than Ninja designer Openmind. “XX” will consist of three hardcover cases in a hardback box, all beautifully made and with foil-blocked text and loveliness. With new tracks from: Amon Tobin, Roots Manuva, Kid Koala, Mr Scruff, Bonobo, Toddla T, Blockhead, Daedelus, Luke Vibert, DJ Vadim, zero dB and more to be announced.
To coincide with the release of XX, Ninja Tune founders Coldcut will be presenting a massive Ninja Tune XX event on October 2 in London at the glamorous Ewer Street Car Park.
Ninja Tune will also release a lavishly illustrated 192 page book, “Ninja Tune: 20 Years of Beats and Pieces” with original photographs, illustrations and flyers plundered from the depths of Ninja Tune and their artists’ archives
