Mumford and Sons’ new album ‘Babel’ is sounding like a lot of old noise to Scot folk-rock group Frightened Rabbit.
Singer and frontman Scott Hutchinson of the Scottish folk rockers revealed his thoughts on how artists should continually strive to thank the fans who support them by pushing their music further, rather than eking out the same tired brand. The bright-eyed band, who release ‘Pedestrian Verse’, their own new album next month, abhor the comparison of themselves to what they consider type-cast bands.
As yet there’s been no reply from the Mum and Sons, but there’s a possibility that folk music could get its first major rivalry of 2013 under its belt.
