Saturday 14th November, The Malborough Little Theatre will host a night of cabaret performance and “strictly no burlesque”. British cabaret is dying, you see. Burlesque has successfully slapped feminism in the face with a Ann Summers nipple tassel and drag has lost its voice to lip-synching. Eat Your Heart Out wears its heart on its sleeve and explores the world of performance – gone are the days of performance artists bleeding over your New Look frock or lesbians self harming over a canvas. Our aim is to provide a decent night of entertainment.
Timeout called it “forward thinking cabaret”.
Tickets are only £5 and reservations, or more information, contact brighton@scottee.co.uk.
