This week XYZ have teamed up with Topman CTRL to offer one lucky act the chance to break out and show what they’re made of, by opening for headliners We Are Scientists and main support I Am Arrows (fronted by Andy Burrows, ex Razorlight) at the Topman CTRL Live show at Audio on Friday August 27.
The gig sold out straight away so it’s the chance for one lucky act to play a packed house ahead of two of the most talked about bands on the UK scene.
The show is guaranteed fantastic regional and national press and your band could be featured!

Topman CTRL is an ongoing monthly series, it’s about giving the most innovative and emerging musical talent control. Acts take over CTRL online, revealing to all their influences, inspiration and what makes up their musical DNA. They then choose the bands for CTRL Live, touring a different city each month throughout the UK . Check out this month’s Controllers We Are Scientists as they talk music, life and the universe.

Entry terms and Conditions
Artist is performing live and being interviewed at Audio, 10 Marine Parade, Brighton, East Sussex BN2 1TL on 27.8.10 as part of a Topman CTRL live event (the “Live Performance and Interview”). Topman (the “Company”) will be filming the Live Performance and Interview with the intention of creating audio and audio-visual content (“Content”) for use in the context of Topman CTRL.
The Artist undertakes, warrants and represents that:
1. The Company or its appointed agents shall be permitted to photograph, film or record the Live Performance, to edit the Content and exploit the audio, visual and audio visual Content in all media in perpetuity provided that it is in the context of Topman CTRL.2. The Artist has 100% control of all master, composition, performance, name and likeness rights in respect of the Live Performance and Interview.
3. In the event that Artist does not control 100% of the rights contained within the Live Performance or Interview including any guest performances then Artist shall inform Company of such exclusions in writing within one working day of the Live Performance and Interview.4. Artist shall not during the Live Performance and Interview be offensive or defamatory against any person or the Company.5. Company can use the artist name, logo and likeness in the Content and in the context of the promotion of the Content.6. The Artist agrees that the Content will be owned and controlled by the Company.
7. The Artist provides an indemnity in respect of any claim against or loss to the Company in respect of Artist’s breech of any of the undertakings, obligations and warranties contained herein.
8. No approval of the content of the Live Performance and Interview shall be required by Artist.
PLEASE NOTE: the Company shall not be permitted to directly commercially exploit the content which shall be available free of charge to users. In the event that this Agreement is signed by an agent or representative on behalf of the Artist then such signatory warrants that they are an authorised representative of the Artist with a mandate to enter in to this agreement on behalf of the Artist.
