Bellows, the latest signing to Cake Records will this Wednesday, the 28th of October, will release their debut EP, and they’ve having a launch party to celebrate! ‘The Troop EP’ showcases the group’s newest songs, some of which will be found on their debut album ‘The Ship Goes Down’ which is set to released in early 2010.
The Bellows sound can not be pigeonholed and although it could be labelled as ‘post-jazz’ or ‘post-rock’, they prefer to describe as “cinematic instrumental music”. With the collective’s musical background in rock, jazz, classical and electronica, Bellows have something for everyone, and this launch party is a night not to be missed.
