Audio celebrated its 5th birthday in fine style on 10th August with a star-studded night headlined by a Kissy Sell Out DJ performance. The famed seafront bar on Marine Parade has long been one of the best venues in Brighton, offering up superb gigs and great clubbing nights.
From the brilliant early live performances of bands like Fleet Foxes, Little Joy, Hockey and Goldheart Assembly, to eclectic clubbing occasions, the venue has become an institution. Appropriately, the night was celebrated with cocktails for all the guests, served from one of the best bars in the city, as well as canapes for the partygoers.
The inclement weather did little to dampen spirits, with DJ sets stretching from big beat classics to hip-hop and then Kissy Sell Out’s eclectic set, featuring his beloved bootleg collection.
On the evidence of the boundless enthusiasm of the Audio-lovers present and the great mix of live music and DJs across two floors, Audio will remain one of Brighton’s favourite venues for a long time to come. Roll on the 10th birthday party…
