Mali duo, Amadou and Mariam, come fresh from their amazing performance at the FIFA World Cup kick off concert in Johannesburg, to release their new aptly titled single “Africa.” The single will be available for download only on July 12, which is taken from their album “Welcome to Mali.”
Legendary French producer/DJ Bob Sinclair did his “Africanism” project in the late 90s/early 00s and was an underground and mainstream success. His take of “Africa” stays true to his passion of the style of music but has his own touch calling it ‘a hymn to joy.’
