The first single since the Mercury award win, this composition is another piece of production wizardry, blending acoustic and electronic techniques with a seamless pulsating groove that soothes with a quiet clockwork intensity. As with the album, the analogue warmth makes for a comforting listen, but it’s the songwriting which falls short on this track, with no memorable vocal melody.
