The icon that Adele has become may be adding another notch to her discography this year. Odds on it being titled ’23’ may be worth a look at the local betting shop, but after the meteoric success of second album “21”, and taking a break to focus on her newborn and family life, just where Adele is going to go is open to debate. Her debut album ’19’ had a strong folk and motown sound, and ’21’ leaned into country and blues.
Her latest smash, the title track to ‘Skyfall’ seems set to have a look-in at this year’s Oscars, which will pay homage to the 50th anniversary of the James Bond films.
