From the 12-15 January 2011, the music conference and showcase festival EuroSonic Noorderslag will be celebrating it’s 25th year. Slowly but surely becoming one of the most important musical showcases, over the years its influence and scope has expanded beyond belief. Having begun as nothing more than a European style battle of the bands between ten Belgian and Dutch acts, it will incorporate over 2,800 delegates and over 260 acts at its historic home in De Oosterpoort next year. The first evening of the four-day event will feature the European Border Breakers Awards and the European Festival Awards.
