Since forming ten years go, this musical project led by Paris-via-Bristol songwriter Kate Stables has released four critically acclaimed albums, earning the adoration of peers including Guy Garvey, The National and Sharon van Etten in the process. Latest effort and Rough Trade debut “Moonshine Freeze” is undoubtedly their most compelling and accomplished album to date, with Stables’ distinctive voice continuing to take us back to the classic singer-songwriter era.
