The Parisian guitar songsmiths have the trump card of having one half of M83 in their midst, frontman Nicolas Fromageau. With a darker sound than his previous efforts, Team Ghost have taken an altogether different direction, with flecks of Joy Division and Cocteau Twins giving them a seething intensity. That said fans of his previous project will enjoy this, the electronica is still there, driving the whole thing forward whilst the guitars crash over the top like a breaking wave.
