Rock & Roll Duo ‘Herman Dune’ is David-Ivar Herman Dune: Voice, Song-Writing and Guitars. (David-Ivar is mostly called Yaya Herman Dune or just Yay). Also Néman Herman Dune: Drums and some backing vocals. (Néman is also known as Cosmic Néman).
Their career began on the international stage thanks to the legend that was (is) John Peel, who played them often and invited them to countless Peel Sessions.
They’ve toured the world and released a lot of music through independent, punk, DIY or Underground labels.
In recent years Herman Dune launched their own imprint STRANGE MOOSIC. With new material recorded in Portland, Oregon they release their new songs in an album called STRANGE MOOSIC (Strange Moosic/G.U.M/City Slang/Fortuna Pop)
