Pint size cult comedian Adam Buxton is one half of the double act Adam & Joe (who rose to fame in the ‘90s with the student humour of The Adam & Joe show on C4.) Even if you’re too young to remember his re-imaginings of Star Wars using soft toys and action figures, you’re not too young to enjoy his new show at this year’s Brighton Comedy Festival.
Adam’s show Kernel Panic, is in a similar vein to his BUG shows, in so far as he uses a laptop to show funny internet videos and their associated (usually offensive) comments sections. Bit like when you and your mates are drunk at three in the morning, and decide to watch clips of Southport Weekender 44 and write “hilarious” anecdotes on Youtube about it.
If this all sounds like a boring I.T. lecture then don’t worry, it’s got jokes in it too…. Oh, and songs.
