Phil Elverum aka Mount Eerie comes to the UK for a just a handful of shows to promote the critically acclaimed new album Wind Songs. Mount Eerie’s mythical and dark folk-noir analog jams fritter between the gentle, whispered and delicately sparse and the ambitiously layered, bellowed and noisey, often all within the same song… This event sees Mount Eerie performing as a six piece live band, including two drummers! Support comes from No Kids. Hailing from Vancover, the trio combine elaborate vocal arrangements, thick bass, skittering rhythms, and even bassoon breaks to deliver an endlessly listenable perfect pop music.
