About the event: Celebrating it’s fourth birthday after the past three successful years, Funk The Family Festival returns to Hove Park on Father’s Day, June 18. Expect lots of exciting costumes this year as the family fun festival carries the theme of “Mythical Creatures”. Last year saw 5,000 people attend for a day jam packed with live music, DJs, entertainment and activities for all the family; with more of the same expected this year. The main outdoor stage will play host to many acts including Jazzie B (Soul II Soul) DJ set, Rowl The Dog and Professor Elemental set to get you up and dancing. Activities range from family yoga, walkabout performers, storytelling and the amazing all day circus performed by Cirque Du Funk. On top of all this there will also be a fantastic range of local produce and food stands to appease foodies of all dietary requirements. The site is less that ten minutes walk from Hove station so it’s easily accessible to those from in and around Brighton as well as places further afield. All in all, the festival gives a fantastic opportunity for families to enjoy an accessible day festival without having to worry about camping.
Age Limits: All
Don’t miss this event because: A great day out for families looking to do something extra exciting this Father’s day.
