Having parted ways with his previous band, the Harpoons, Ezra went on to release not one, but two highly acclaimed solo records within the space of a year. For the latter, “Day Of The Dog”, Ezra teamed up with a new band dubbed “the Boy-Friends” who now join him on tour. With an altogether rockier approach, Furman’s hushed vocal delivery and subtly twisted lyrics are brilliantly juxtaposed with sweet lo-fi indie-pop that just begs to be swayed to.
