The Brighton-based indie-rockers were one of the most distinctive bands the city’s produced, their mix of post-punk, post-rock aesthetics finding restlessly creative form across three LPs. Striking out from previous label Matador, last year’s crowdfunded “A New Nature” received glowing reviews and favourable comparisons to PJ Harvey. No doubt validated by the success of this move towards independence, the band upped sticks earlier this year and relocated to the creative hub of Berlin, with this marking their first gig back in their hometown.
It’s sure to be a blinder, marking either a poignant reminder or triumphant return for Rachel Davies and co.
