The poster-girl for Slacker Pop, Barnett’s ironic observations and sarcastic humor make her material the perfect musical commentary on modern life. Speaking of her latest work, she said, “My songs follow me as a normal human with normal emotions, so there are great highs and great lows. They span everything in my life.”.
