What if Frankenstein’s monster was created in 2018? Would we run in fear or look in awe as if it was a new project by Elon Musk? Or would we even notice, never looking up from our devices to see what’s happening around us?
Taking over the main stage at The Warren, The Brighton Institute for Contemporary Theatre Training, or BRICTT, are set to bring us a fast-paced mix of physicality and sharp storytelling this year during Brighton Fringe Festival.
Delivered by young performers of a similar age to that of pregnant teenage runaway Shelley when she penned that classic, expect a new ‘Gen-Z’ interpretation of this classic story, posing questions about gender equality, social conscience and our ‘single-use everything’ consumerism.
Info: 4pm & 8pm, entry from £8.50.
