Spreading their message of “love and evolution” through colourful, warm and invitingly mellow grooves, the former RUFFNESS frontman and his band should certainly find an appropriately welcoming audience in Brighton. Winningly executing “folksoulcountrydubreggae”, fleshed out with horns, keys and chunky reggae beats and basslines, expect serious skanking and swaying with a smile from the band and audience alike. About as far from West Street as you’ll get on a Sturday night.
8pm, £6.
