Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are to play Brighton’s Concorde 2 this week, as part of a UK tour to promote latest album Beat The Devil’s Tattoo, which was released in March. This album is the first with new drummer Leah Shapiro, and the band’s first full-length on their own label Abstract Dragon. Their debut album BRMC was released in 1999 to rave reviews and their unique blend of bluesy-folk-garage paved the way for bands such as The Strokes and The Hives etc.
This Brighton date is the last of their UK tour, and tickets sold out ages ago – BUT – if you were unlucky enough to miss out this time, the guys will be back to play two shows in December at Nottingham’s Rock City and the O2 Academy in Glasgow. Tickets go on sale April 30 – click here.
Thursday 29 April 2010, with support from Dark Horses.
Doors: 7.30pm – 11pm
Tickets: SOLD OUT
