It’s nice to see double A-sides from a new band, it shows confidence. And it seems they’ve a lot to be confident about, with approval from many a mainstream radio DJ. But the truth is that there’s more than a tip of the cap to ‘Fever To Tell’ here, it sounds like Mr Zinner & co. are too big an influence. Frontwoman Amy Cooper’s ‘edgy’ vocals fall short on the believability meter, and she’s too polite for a rock chick.
