We Cut Corners “Think Nothing” – LPĀ
It has been a couple of years since we saw WCC tear it up at the Prince Albert and it seems they’ve been busy penning an album which surpasses their sterling debut. And it would seem they’ve succeeded. Opener Wallflowers takes you by surprise with an orchestral arrangement that swells blissfully out of control. Whereas, Best Friend sees them treading the more familiar ground of their drum/guitar/vocal style with effortless skill. This is exemplary stuff from the Dublin duo.
8/10, out now,Ā Jimmy Volts
