From Dan Auerbach comes the debut album from his latest side-project, featuring Homer Steinweiss (the Dap-Kings), Leon Michaels (Truth&Soul Records), fellow Black Keys member Nick Movshon and guitarist Kenny Vaughn.
Laid-back, soulful grooves sizzle like a Mexican courtyard at high-noon, with lustful tremolo guitars laying atop bone-dry rhythms.
“Everything You Do” crackles with dusty vinyl warmth, skipping loose in a margarita-soaked stupor, whilst the hushed “Nature’s Child” brings effortlessly cool relief.
