Terror Pigeon “Yucksongs 2014 :(“ – LP
The third album from these Nashville natives is a reassuringly lo-fi affair, blending one-take vocals with Casio drum beats and geek-punk synth bursts. Frontman Neil Fridd claims that this album is everything an album can be, except for boring. And as it turns out, he’s right! OK, so technically, it’s a B-Sides album. But it’s got a charm all its own. And with song titles like “Voldemort Time!” and “Wonderdave”, what’s not to like?
