One of the most anticipated debut albums in recent memory finally sees the light of day after release delays. But boy, was it worth the wait! The eponymous opener has all the swagger and vocal prowess we’ve come to expect from an artist who’s been accurately described as “the next Seal”. The record drips with edgy modernism (thanks to production from Sohn), blending slick samples with bursts of neo-gospel choirs and of course that unmistakable voice.
