The third full length record from Ghostpoet opens with the kind of uptempo immediacy that demonstrates he’s got more up his sleeves than just the hazy, lazy delivery he’s known for. “Off Peak Dreams” brings to mind the kind of feel-good foot shuffler that Mike Skinner would’ve been proud of, whilst “Be Right Back, Moving House” has the kind of subtle epicness of a collaboration between the XX and Scroobius Pip. A touching collection of soul-bearing material from an artist who’s far from finished.
