The band’s latest album hasn’t fallen short of critical acclaim, and it’s not without good reason; their uniquely dark soundscapes contain the same pensive mesmeric allure as bands such as Interpol and Editors, yet the harsh EDM effects put their machine-driven melodies in a league of their own. Especially when paired with the pensively poised 80s inclined approach to lyricism. The sound of guitars breaking on synthesisers will never get old.
